WASI GTS POWER BALL, Anchor - Chain Connector

Swiveling stainless steel anchor / chain connector with high break loads. Made from AISI 316L / A4L stainless steel.

The WASI GTS POWERBALL is a high-strength connection with ball joint between anchor and chain and provides the necessary freedom of movement without the need for additional shackles. The WASI GTS (Ground Tackle System) is designed as a primary safety system for yachts and is made of guaranteed high quality stainless steel down to the last detail. As an anchor chain connector together with the WASI GTS shackle anchor it forms the perfect combination for safe anchoring and is also suitable for almost all anchor types.

The WASI GTS POWERBALL is uniquely strong, slim and requires no safety wires. The inner ball allows 360° rotation and is designed to take full loads from all directions. Also the ball construction also ensures that the slewing ring is self-cleaning from dirt. The locking pins ensure that the bolts cannot be accidentally released. Additionally the breaking force is higher than usual chains and allows a 30° inclination with complete 360° rotation.

The WASI GTS POWERBALL helps the anchor to turn always into the correct position on the bow roller. Setting and hauling the anchor is therefore easier and safer.
